A Blender 3D artist who hands you the .blend file too
Product models, Cycles and EEVEE renders, animation and web-ready exports, made in Blender from start to finish. You get the finished images or files and the organised .blend source, so the work is never locked to me. Models from €290.
- The organised .blend comes with every project: textures packed, collections named
- Blender is free, open-source software, so your team can open it without a licence
- Fixed price in writing within one working day, clay preview before materials
Fjord blue
Opaque surface. Pick Subsurface for porcelain or wax, Transmission for glass.
Rendering withCycles
Reads assatin glaze
Cycles preview: fjord blue mug, roughness 0.35, metallic 0.00. Reads as satin glaze. Soft shadow, a darker contact shadow at the base and a faint fjord blue bounce on the floor. simplified preview, not Blender output
What I do in Blender
The whole job happens in one program, so nothing is lost between tools and the file you receive is the file I worked in.
Hard-surface and product modelling
Built to your dimensions in millimetres. Bevel modifiers and weighted normals for crisp, light-catching edges; subdivision with support loops where a surface must flow.
UV unwrapping
Seams placed where the real product has them, texel density matched across parts, so a label prints as sharply as the cap next to it.
PBR materials and baking
Principled BSDF materials from your colour codes. Procedural detail baked to base colour, roughness, metallic and normal maps when a file has to leave Blender.
Geometry Nodes for variants
One node tree for sizes, lengths, colours or handle options. Change a value and the whole range re-renders from the same cameras.
Product animation without rigs
Keyframes, constraints and drivers for lids that open, exploded views and seamless turntables. No character rigs.
Cycles and EEVEE rendering
Cycles for physically lit final stills, EEVEE for fast previews and longer clips. Denoising, and the AgX or Filmic view transform chosen per product.
Compositing
Render passes such as shadow, ambient occlusion and Cryptomatte combined in Blender's compositor: clean cut-outs and colour fixes without re-rendering.
glTF export for web and AR
The built-in glTF 2.0 exporter with Draco compression for GLB, plus USD export for Apple AR, each checked against a texture and size budget.
3D-print checks
The 3D-Print Toolbox add-on checks for non-manifold edges, thin walls, overhangs and intersecting faces before an STL leaves the file.
Bring any file, leave with a clean .blend
Find what you have in the rows and what you need in the columns. Each cell explains the honest route through Blender, including the ones where Blender is the wrong place to start.
- Direct: opens in Blender as it is
- Clean-up: opens, then needs repair or reduction
- Convert first: needs converting to a mesh first
- Model it: modelled in Blender from references
- Better at source: better exported from your own CAD tool

STEP or IGES to GLB for web
- Blender does not open STEP or IGES directly, so the file is converted to a mesh first, at a tessellation density chosen for where it is going.
- Imported into Blender, scale and units checked, shading fixed with weighted normals.
- Procedural material detail baked to base colour, metallic-roughness and normal maps, because glTF cannot carry Blender's node trees.
- Exported with the built-in glTF 2.0 exporter, with Draco mesh compression where your viewer supports it.
A converted CAD part can run to hundreds of thousands of triangles. Retopology or decimation brings it down to a web budget before baking.
Whatever format your file is in, send it. You get a fixed Blender price within one working day.

Blender is the tool I work in every day, and every service on this page is delivered in it. Other tools only join a project once confirmed, and they are marked until then.

What you get back
Blender prices
Proposed from-prices in euros, excluding VAT 25.5 %. Every package includes the .blend source. Your written quote is fixed before work starts. All prices
Model
One product modelled in Blender to your dimensions.
- From sketch, photos, CAD or scan
- GLB plus FBX or OBJ
- Organised .blend, two revision rounds
Renders
Stills from your model, in Cycles or EEVEE.
- Clay preview before final light
- PNG plus EXR on request
- Scene .blend with cameras saved
Animation
Turntables and short product clips, no rigs.
- Timing agreed on a preview first
- MP4, ProRes on request
- Keyframed .blend you can re-render
Web and AR
Files ready for viewers and AR on phones.
- GLB and USDZ with baked textures
- Tested on an iPhone and an Android phone
- Bake set-up kept in the .blend
If the direction is wrong, you find out early. You approve a clay render of the model before materials and light go on. If the shape is off, it is fixed then, before the second half of the invoice. And whatever happens, the .blend is yours, so the work can continue with anyone.
When Blender is not the right tool
Blender is excellent for what this page sells. It is not the answer to every 3D job, and I will say so before you pay for the wrong one.
- Engineering drawings for manufacturingToleranced parts, dimensioned drawings and parametric history belong in CAD. Use your CAD team or engineer; I can make the renders from their file afterwards.
- Real-time game pipelinesLOD chains, engine-side shaders, collision and build integration are a game studio's daily work. A studio that ships games will do it better.
- Character animationMy animation is product animation without rigs. For characters that walk, talk or emote, hire a character animator.
How a Blender project runs
Five stops, each ending in something you can open and approve.
- 1
Files in
Whatever you have, from a napkin sketch to an old .blend. Your quote names the route and the render engine.
- 2
Clay preview
Grey model at true scale under neutral light. You approve proportions and camera.
- 3
Shading
UVs and node-based materials matched to your colour codes or posted samples.
- 4
Render or export
Stills, clips, GLB, USDZ or STL, each with its own check before delivery.
- 5
Hand-over
Files plus the .blend: textures packed, unused data purged, collections named so anyone can find the lid.
Questions about hiring a Blender artist
Will I get the .blend source file?
Yes, always. You get the .blend with textures packed into the file, collections named by part and material, and the cameras and lights used for your images. Blender is free, open-source software, so anyone on your team can open it, and another artist can pick up where I stopped.
Can you work from my CAD files?
Yes. Blender does not open STEP or IGES directly, so the CAD file is first converted to a mesh at a set tessellation density, then cleaned up or retopologised in Blender. If you need the file back for manufacturing, keep the CAD original as the master: the mesh is for renders, web and AR.
Cycles or EEVEE: which will you use for my renders?
Cycles for most final product stills: it traces light physically, so glass, soft contact shadows and colour bleeding look right. EEVEE is much faster, so I use it for previews, turntables with simple materials and long animations. You see a clay preview either way, and your quote states which engine it assumes.
