WordPress sites you can edit yourself

from€1,500one-off, excl. VAT

You will change texts, prices and news often, so you need an editor you are comfortable in. WordPress on a lean custom theme, with a strict plugin budget, caching and a server I tune myself, keeps that control without a slow site.

  • Lean custom theme and the block editor
  • A written plugin budget
  • Caching and a tuned server

WordPress is one option, not the only one: portals, booking systems and APIs go to custom development in PHP, Laravel or your stack (discovery from €490). Already have a site? If it is slow, start with speed and Core Web Vitals fixes (from €490). If it only needs looking after, see care plans (from €49 a month).

The price in the written quote is the price for that scope; if the scope changes, you see the new price before any extra work starts. The domain, hosting account, code and content are yours when the site is done. Selling more than a few products? A full store is an ecommerce project, from €1,900.

When I would not build you a new website

A rebuild is the most expensive answer. Sometimes a smaller job solves the actual problem.

  • 01Your current site says the right things but loads slowly. Speed fixes cost less than a rebuild and keep what already ranks.
  • 02You need one page for one campaign. A landing page is faster to launch and easier to test than a whole new site.
  • 03You mainly want to sell products. Start from the ecommerce page, so the platform fits your catalogue before anything is designed.

Questions about websites

How much does a business website cost?

A small business site with up to five pages starts from €790 excl. VAT, and a full multilingual site with up to 12 pages from €1,900. Custom features or integrations start from €3,900. You get a fixed written price for your exact scope within one working day, so the number does not change halfway.

How long does a website take?

A small site usually takes two to three weeks, and a multilingual site four to six weeks from the agreed brief. The biggest factor is how quickly texts, images and feedback arrive. The launch date is written into the quote, and I tell you straight away if anything puts it at risk.

Can I edit the site myself?

Yes. On WordPress you edit pages, prices and news in the block editor, and launch includes training so you know how. If the site rarely changes, a lean static build is faster, and I make the occasional edit for you or a care plan covers it. You own the site either way.
